Yes! There are many different ways to enhance the sound experience on TravelStudio, so being able to organize, save, and recall the different setups is a must. Once you get a sound you like, that setup can be saved and recalled later. TravelStudio comes with 8 different “factory” setups that are always available. Additionally the user can store 8 different “user” setups. These setups can store:
- Which inputs and which outputs are enabled
- Which effects are enabled and their wet/dry mix
- Distortion and Amp emulation
- EQ settings
- FM Transmitter settings
- Input gain and output volume
With the included USB interface to your Mac or PC, you can utilize the setup application to create and name your setup files, download them to TravelStudio, and recall them later.
Yes! With the additional purchase of a condenser microphone and stand, any musician can achieve a more fulfilling and enjoyable sound during practice sessions. Now you can mix in reverb or chorus to simulate different acoustical settings. Any device that comes with a headphone jack can be connected to TravelStudio’s “MP3 player” audio input. Simply use the accessory 1/8” male to male audio cable to connect from the headphone jack of your MP3 player, smartphone, portable CD player, or portable stereo system, to the audio input on TravelStudio.
It’s simple. Choose an FM station that’s not currently being used in your local area. Set up the TravelStudio to transmit on that frequency, and enable the FM Transmitter. Now tune your radio to the same station. Once setup is complete, the same mix heard on TravelStudio’s headphone jack will also be transmitted to any nearby radio on the chosen frequency. Use this feature to transform your home stereo equipment into a high quality amplifier for your musical instruments. TravelStudio runs on either 4 AA batteries or the supplied external DC adapter. Any AA battery technology can be used, either alkaline or rechargeable. TravelStudio will not recharge batteries. Depending on usage, a user can expect better than 20 hours of continuous use from a single set of batteries.
Yes! TravelStudio provides +28 volts Phantom Power to the microphone jack which can be enabled or disabled.
